PHOTOS: HTC One launched in the UAE [Seven Days (United Arab Emirates)]
(Seven Days (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) HTC has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the HTC One, in the UAE.
The handset was launched on Sunday exclusively in partnership telecom provider du and will be functional on the operator’s 4G LTE network.
The Android-based phone hopes to compete with rival devices with its latest HTC Sense innovations including HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound.
The HTC BlinkFeed presents a personal live stream on the home screen incorporating social updates, entertainment and lifestyle updates, news and photos with immersive images so that people no longer need to go to separate applications to find out what’s happening.
The HTC UltraPixel Camera with HTC Zoe gives people the ability to shoot high-res photos that come to life in three-second snippets. HTC BoomSound introduces front-facing stereo speakers with a dedicated amplifier, along with Beats Audio™ integration enabled.
Crafted with a zero-gap aluminium unibody, the HTC One sports a 4.7ins, Full HD screen. The display also resists scratches and reduces glare, while offering 468ppi resolution. The phone runs on the Jelly Bean operating system.
The HTC One will be available across the UAE in silver and black in both LTE and 3G connectivity options with 32GB internal memory.
