Barcelona, Spain – Telecom IT solution provider Tecnotree has announced it is
partnering with Zain in Kuwait to transform its voicemail service into a visual
application. Providing a user experience that is similar to email, the new
service provides a touchpoint for frequent subscriber interaction, to drive
usage and revenues.
Visual Voicemail enhances the voicemail experience by letting subscribers to
browse on their mobile device a listing of received voice messages, and then
listen to the automatically downloaded messages in the order that interests
them most. The service itself can be expanded to cover notifications, offers,
3rd party advertising and related operator-hosted communications and content
services. Visual Voicemail can truly be harnessed as a tool to re-engage with
the subscriber to consume more operator aggregated services.
Tecnotree is delivering Zain the Tecnotree Agility(TM) Call Completion solution
with Visual Voicemail functionality connecting in one side to existing
generations of messaging platforms, including the Tecnotree Voicemail, and in
the other side to Visual Voicemail clients in mobile devices.
Nadia Al Saif, Zain Kuwait, Value Added Service Director comments: “ Zain
Kuwait is a pioneer in offering the latest and most innovative services to
cater to its customer’s needs and demands. By partnering with Tecnotree we are
giving our customers a best of breed voicemail service enabling them to manage
their voicemails directly from iPhone and Android devices. For the first time,
our subscribers will see the names and numbers of people who have left messages
on their voicemail, instead of requiring them to call a dedicated number and
navigate automated prompts.”
“Visual Voicemail is expected to expand from Apple’s iPhones to other popular
smart phones in the market, and Tecnotree, with its 30 years of experience, is
ideally positioned to support Zain in this expansion,” says Stavros Vougas Vice
President Middle East Africa, Tecnotree.
