Huawei to host national broadband event [CommsMEA (United Arab Emirates)](CommsMEA (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Huawei and the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will host the Huawei Broader Way Forum 2014, in the UAE, to discuss the benefits of national broadband initiatives. The one-day conference will look at the role of national broadband networks in driving economic transformation, the current state of broadband infrastructure in the UAE, and provide insights on how governments and businesses can work together to maximize the public value of such infrastructure policies. The event, which takes place at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dubai on 29th April, will bring together senior-level industry stakeholders from the UAE's public sector as well as top analysts, operators, and consultancy firms. The Broader Way Forum is an international series of events which focuses on industry topics such as mobile communications, broadband and data security.
