Armenia : ROSTELECOM ARMENIA partnering TANDEM PAYMENTS introduces a new bill payment portal [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Rostelecom Armenia on Thursday has made an announcement on its launch of a new billing portal to facilitate its customers pay their bills online for using the services of the company, in addition to the provision for payment terminals. The company has revealed that it has set up the online billing portal jointly with its partner Tandem Payments to allow its subscribers carry out all payment related transactions for its services. The newly offered new online billing portal facilitates the Rostelecom users with efficient management of time as well as money. They can visit the portal, which is placed at tandem.am, to make payments for their bills for mobile and Internet services, use of commercial channels, utility fees and loan repayments. Using the brand name of Rostelecom, JSC GNC-ALFA, Rostelecom s subsidiary in Armenia, started endorsement and sale of telecommunications services in the Armenian market in December, 2012. Through fiber-optic network of over 2,500-km, the telecom firm provides coverage to 80% of the Armenian land. Rostelecom s extensive network connects the main regional backbones and key locations of traffic exchange, plus global channels through Georgia and Iran. Set up in 2007, LLC Tandem Payments focuses on making and devising a network of payment terminals for a range of services such as municipal, state taxes, and the like.
