Etisalat to take 300 kids to Disney on Ice show [Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates)]


(Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ABU DHABI, 6th September, 2014 (WAM)--Three hundred thrilled children from Dar Zayed orphanage, Rashid Centre for Disabled and Dubai Autism Centre will be audience to the highly-awaited Disney On Ice presents Rockin' Ever After show, thanks to a special gift from Etisalat.



The telecom giant has invited special needs children and orphans from the organisations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with their care-takers and guardians, to be part of one of the world's biggest entertainment shows coming to the U.A.E..

"The show will surely provide an evening of unlimited fun and entertainment for many kids and families in the U.A.E., but for orphans and children with special needs, it will mean much more than that. On the one hand, we are thrilled to bring the show to the U.A.E. in line with our strategy to introduce distinctive family-oriented propositions and the world's best in entertainment to children and families here. However, to be able to serve our community and brighten up faces of hundreds of kids who are otherwise faced with a much harder fate, makes our involvement with the show much more meaningful", said Fares Hamad Fares, Vice President Corporate Communications at Etisalat.

The charitable gesture reiterates the company's commitment in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses the U.A.E. Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai . It also affirms the solidarity with which different sectors assume their social responsibilities. We are certain that Etisalat's initiative will put smiles on our children's faces and help them enjoy this evening alongside all other children attending the show.
