Rostelecom plans VoIP service launch [Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates)]


(Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Russian national operator Rostelecom has launched a tender for supplies of hardware and software to support the launch of a VoIP service, reports Comnews.ru. Four companies submitted applications in the tender: Tekhnoserv, Tekigent, CTI and Inline Telecom Solutions. The winner of the bid will be named by 6 November. The initial size of the contract amounts to RUB 73 million. The national operator plans to launch the service in the first half of 2015.
