Man arrested for running illegal call center [Gulf News (United Arab Emirates)](Gulf News (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sharjah: The Sharjah Police have arrested on Wednesday an Asian man for illegally running a call centre. The police had received a tip off that an Asian man set up an illegal call centre at his house in Industrial area of Sharjah to offering international telephone calls at low rates. The police raided the house and arrested the suspect and confiscated the equipment including a computer. Police have warned public as well owners of internet cafes not to violate the rules of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
