Smartphone personal information management company Pageonce, recently celebrated its one millionth U.S. registered user for its flagship product, Personal Assistant - a personal finance and travel application on the iPhone (News - Alert), BlackBerry, Android and Windows platforms.

Additionally, the company also announced a $6.5 million new round of venture funding, led by the Israeli Venture firm Pitango Venture Capital which totals the fund to date to $10 million.

“One million registered users is a big milestone for us, and it clearly shows we are the leader in mobile personal finance management,” said Guy Goldstein, CEO at Pageonce.

“Our goal is to own the personal information management category on the mobile platform. We are thrilled to have Pitango as a great partner for us as they understand the potential of the market we’re addressing and they have been big believers in the mobile space since the beginning,” added Goldstein.

Pitango’s partner Eitan Bek, as said, will join Pageonce’s board of directors.

“Pitango identified the mobile web as a new fast growing industry, and we are excited to be working with Pageonce as a leader in this space,” says Eitan Bek, a partner at Pitango.

“Pageonce has the right management team and a unique proposition to build a big company. We have extensive experience in working with companies that have their technology team based in Israel and look forward to helping Pageonce become a household consumer name.”

Apart from Personal Assistant, Pageonce has also developed a service that gives consumers one-touch access to their essential personal information, from bank accounts to travel itineraries. With only a customer’s username and password, Pageonce automatically presents essential personal information in a simple to read format on a smartphone. Moreover, the company claims that its Mobile Minute Tracker is the easiest way for consumers to keep track of their wireless & text usage and upcoming bills.

Reportedly, Pageonce’s current cross-platform products are all offered for free and a premium ad-free version.

Recently Jim Scheinman joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. “I’m excited about the incredible growth of Pageonce and the potential of the smartphone market which is the future of computing,” said Scheinman.
