ComGuard's GFI Launches Enhances Web Monitoring and E-Mail Archiving

ComGuard, which has been recognized as one of the fastest growing value added distributors, extended its reach in the Middle East region with the launch of two award-winning products from GFI Software - GFI WebMonitor and GFI MailArchiver.

Commenting on the launch of the two products, Mohammad Mobasseri, Sr. Vice President, ComGuard FZ LLC, said in a press release, “GFI WebMonitor and GFI MailArchiver are the best in class products to be available in the region. With ever increasing number of e-mails there is a strong demand for GFI MailArchiver, while on other hand GFI WebMonitor provides excellent solution for web monitoring and security which is imperative to the business these days.”



The Internet monitoring and Exchange server e-mail archiving, management and compliance software is primarily directed at small to medium-sized enterprises. GFI WebMonitor allows administrators to monitor and control employee Internet access in real-time while the GFI MailArchiver helps administrators maintain an archive of all corporate e-mail correspondence.

Enumerating the benefits, the company stated that the WebMonitor ensures that employees' browsing activity is in accordance with business needs and in compliance with policies defined by the company. This will result in increased employee productivity and performance, reduced bandwidth consumption, improved interactive access and monitoring of blocked activity reports.

The GFI MailArchiver was also touted to be the answer to storage problems by compensating for the absence of Single Instance storage in Exchange 2010, the product solves the perennial problem of backup and restoration. By re-equipping the Exchange server with single instance storage, it eliminates the need for expensive storage, reduces the demands on the Exchange server and the dependency on PST files.

In related news, ComGuard announced that it had extended its distribution partnership with Kaspersky. Following the successful business relationship between ComGuard and Kaspersky in the Middle East region, ComGuard as the nationwide enterprise distributor for India will now distribute the entire range of Kaspersky products in India.
