Middle East and Africa is a cutting-edge and highly competitive market within the telecommunications industry with new technologies emerging frequently. Trendium, a provider of Customer Service Intelligence solutions, is in the process of positioning itself to be on the forefront of the market over the coming months.
One such initiative the company took toward achieving this was its partnership deal with Alkan Telecom, a telecommunications System Integrator and Solution provider in the Middle East and Africa.
As per the terms of this agreement, Alkan Telecom will add Trendium’s ServicePATH-Customer Service Intelligence solutions for broadband IP-based services to their current solution offerings.
Both companies believe this partnership can offer a better opportunity for Trendium to establish itself within the emerging and rapidly growing MEA telecom market.
“Alkan Telecom is proud to be offering Trendium’s Customer Service Intelligence solutions to its customers in the Telecom sector,” Sameh Yamany, president and chief executive officer at Trendium, said in a recent statement. “Our customers will now have access to an incredibly well-rounded portfolio of products to ensure that all their needs are met.”
“Our partnership with Alkan Telecom is an integral step in entering those markets, because of Alkan’s broad market depth and vision to become the center of excellence for Communication and Information Technology,” Yamany added.
Trendium’s ServicePATH Customer Service Intelligence framework provides the foundation for a suite of segment-specific solutions and applications that enable service providers to increase service profitability, ensure high customer satisfaction, reduce churn and avoid service level agreement violations.
ServicePATH is used by several leading telecom carriers around the world. The ServicePATH portfolio includes solutions for SLA management and service performance management for broadband access, VoIP, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS, IP VPN, IP backbone and Optical.

In another development within enterprise network management, TMC (News - Alert) mentioned Tom Leh, VP of Product Development at Trendium, saying ServicePATH is a framework software platform that can be abstracted into a number of different solutions and is focused more on the Tier 1 operators and big service providers with complex back ends and hundreds of different types of network elements, and OSS and BSS systems with which to integrate.
