Xangati Announces End-User Application Suite
TMCnet Contributing Editor
Xangati, a company for next generation in application management, announced the availability of its end-user application suite (EAS). With Application Management 2.0 framework, Xangati (News - Alert) offers power of real-time streaming visuals to the subscribers.
Xangati’s Application Management 2.0 solution helps customers work collaboratively to understand the challenges of today’s increasingly complicated networked application environments, minimize negative effects of application rollouts and updates, and resolve issues.
“Today's complex business and home environments require more integrated troubleshooting functionality in order to most efficiently manage a growing set of applications connected to the network,” said Matt Davis, program director at IDC (News - Alert). “By empowering the subscriber and service provider with a higher degree of visibility into the Internet usage, and also giving that subscriber a set of tools to take action on issues as they arise, a better problem resolution process is achieved.”
The EAS is comprised of two complementary applications that helps service providers to reduce costs, and deliver offerings like, the AppMonitor, for subscribers to see their streaming real-time application activity over the Internet and identify issues without outside assistance, probes or software agents, helping customers manage their own Internet service.
Another application, the Visual Trouble Ticket portal allows a subscriber to initiate and submit a DVR-style recording of their network and application activity to help a customer support representative (CSR (News - Alert)) see and track the problem in real-time.
“Xangati understands the challenges of today’s increasingly complicated computing environments and, by making what’s happening on the network more transparent to all relevant parties, we enable a collaborative work process that resolves issues in record time,” said Alan Robin, CEO of Xangati.
“In some cases, the release of our end-user application suite may even lead to a subscriber never having to call their service provider again,” said Robin.
Kevin Booth, systems engineer at Horizon Consultants, added, “As soon as I saw Xangati’s AppMonitor offered through my service provider EATEL, I knew I had to have it. It gives me a real-time view of how my Internet is being used, which helps me independently make better decisions about how to best manage my network.”
