Burger King Opens Call Center in UAE

Burger King has reportedly opened a new call center in the United Arab Emirates to handle orders for pick up or delivery.

According to a report on Franchise-net.com (News - Alert), the new centralized call center will enable customers to place an order at any Burger King restaurant in the UAE by dialing a single telephone number.



This will speed customer service, as customers will no longer need to find and dial the phone number for their nearest Burger King location. In addition it eliminates the possibility of getting a busy signal.
 
The BK Call Center, as it is called, is staffed with agents who speak English and Arabic. The new call center reportedly sports CRM integration that enables call center agents to identify established customers by name and see their past purchase histories.

To help promote the new call center, Burger King is running a “Remember the Number” competition in the UAE wherein customers are asked to stick two specially developed BK Call Center stickers -- with the telephone number emblazoned on them -- in daring and weird places. Customers then take a photo of the applied stickers and upload them to the “BURGER KING UAE” Facebook (News - Alert) fan page, where entries will be voted upon by members.

According to the report, two winners will be selected every week based on the number of votes received and will receive exciting prizes such as a Sony Cyber-shot digital camera and BK money booklets.
